The cultural institution, located in the old Hospital de San Sebastian, founded in 1987 and dedicated to the conservation, study, and dissemination of cinemetográfico heritage of Andalusia. It offers an interesting program and vocational training.
The passion for the cinema of the teacher of the faculty of Philosophy and Letters Rafael Cejudo has led him to form, together with other 32 fans, the Friends' Association of the Film library of Andalusia.
It arises with the idea of promoting the culture of the cinema, not only the projection of movies but to organize cinefórums, publications, to constitute groups of discussion and especially to assemble the people who are interested in the cinema in Cordova.
