Natural Park of the Sierras Subbéticas. Natural Reserve of the Salobral Lagoon.

The Verde de la Subbética route runs between olive trees and vineyards, for 57.3 km, in the south of the province of Córdoba following the route of the old Tren del Aceite and you can explore the interior of Andalusia on cycle and hiking routes.

The beautiful landscapes of the Natural Park of the Sierras Subbéticas are adequately mixed with the preserved railway architecture, formed by four viaducts, five stations, a tunnel of 139 m. and six rest areas.

Today this route between the river Guadajoz in the vicinity of the town of Luque and the town of Navas del Selpillar, allows cyclists and walkers to enjoy the beautiful scenery of the Natural Park of the Sierra Subbética and the rich birdlife of the Natural Reserve from the Laguna del Salobral.

The Greenway brings us to picturesque towns such as Luque, Zuheros, Doña Mencía, Cabra and Lucena, dotted with proud castles and the occasional mysterious cave.
