DESCRIPTION

Another year, the town of La Rambla will host ENBARRO 2019, a new edition of this Exhibition of Pottery and Ceramics that annually organizes the City of La Rambla in collaboration with the Association of Artisans Potters La Rambla.

It is the oldest pottery and ceramic monographic exhibition in Spain, in fact, its first edition was already held in 1926. However, throughout this time it has been able to adapt magnificently to the new needs, becoming one of the ceramic competitions with greater participation in Spain.

Currently, ENBARRO contains two different events. On the one hand, we find the most commercial part of the sample with the direct sale and exhibition of pieces. And on the other, the competitions that teach the most artistic nuance, allowing potters of different nationalities to compete in design and technique.

Within the contest, there are three categories: pottery in biscuits, traditional ceramics, and design and new forms, whose first prize in each category amounts to € 2,500.

The dates on which these two events take place are: from June 6 to 9, 2019 for the Pottery and Pottery Fair and the first two weeks of August for the International Competitions, at which time they will be exhibited at the Museum of Ceramics from La Rambla, the winning pieces of each category.
