O.D. LOS PEDROCHES IBERICO HAM

The production area and production of the PDO Pedroches encompasses 300,000 acres of meadow of oaks located in 32 municipalities of the province of Córdoba: Alcaracejos (which houses a museum of the Matanza), Anora, Belalcazar Belmez , Los Blazquez, Cardena, Conquest, Two Towers, Espiel, the Gravel, Fuente la Lancha, Fuenteobejuna the Granjuela, Hinojosa del Duque, Pedroche, Penyarroya-Pueblo-new, Pozoblanco, Santa Eufemia, Torrecampo, Valsequillo, Villanueva de Córdoba (headquarters of the Council Regulator), Villanueva del Duque, Villanueva del Rey, and El Viso Villaralto as well as part of Adamuz, Hornachuelos, Montoro, Obejo, Guest Villaharta and Villaviciosa de Córdoba, specifically areas with higher altitude to 300 m. It is one of the larger oaks in Spain. The Iberian pig is a unique species in the world. Their diet closely linked to the wooded pastures with oak and its fruit, the acorn, make the products derived from it are of exceptional quality. This quality is endorsed by four basic factors: race, advanced age, rearing free and continuous movement, and finally feeding exclusively from acorn and grass.
