ROUTE OF CONTEMPORARY ART "PERIPHERAl"

The global era has relativized the concept of periphery. Peripheral, has acquired a new account today. Factors have contributed to it as access to information through new technologies, fast movements by road improvements, or the projection of the rural and natural and cultural heritage. As a result, there is the consideration that contemporary art does not have to be only for the inhabitants of large cities, but on the contrary, people can have many benefi cial ingredients to create, for quiet refl ection and management of such events. This phenomenon occurs with particular emphasis in the province of Córdoba, which have sprouted in the last 14 years, fi ve draft proposals to extend the Spanish art scene in the Rambla, Doña Mencia, Lucena, El Carpio and Almedinilla, assuming positions risk, diverse and innovative.
