The Guitar Festival of Cordoba is a cultural and playful landmark that is celebrated during the month of July in the capital.
The Festival, with a mere national and international reputation due to the high quality of interpreters and teachers involved, offers two complementary areas. On the one hand, the so-called Formative Program, with courses on guitar construction, ancient guitar, classical guitar, flamenco, contemporary, modern, composition courses for guitar, and dance and flamenco singing courses. On the other hand, the Program of Major Concerts and Shows that take place in emblematic venues and plazas of the city (Gran Teatro, Alcázar de los Reyes Cristianos, Royal Stables, Congress Palace, Plaza de Capuchinos, Plaza de la Corredera, Foal, Plaza de Tierra Andaluza ...) that make of the night Cordovan an authentic delight.
For the Festival of Cordoba have passed the major figures of flamenco guitar, modern, jazz and classical and ancient music.
To complete the musical offer, the guitar serves as an excuse to accommodate a large number of shows, concerts, film projections, exhibitions and conferences.
