Córdoba Central is the main railway station of Cordoba. It was inaugurated on September 9, 1994 replacing the old Central Station Cordoba built in 1859. Bifurcation point of the lines to Seville and Malaga, offers comprehensive services Long and Middle Distance both conventional and high-speed lines. In 2010 received over 3.3 million passengers per year will be the fourth season of Spain in number of passengers (excluding commuter) after Madrid-Atocha, Sants and Barcelona-Sevilla-Santa Justa.
