The Municipal Zoo Cordoba, located in the lower part of the Cross Park Conde, opens its doors in late 1967, but will not be officially opened until 15 May 1968 The zoo offers a completely revamped appearance, with many species animals, from the lion, tiger, rhino, wolf, zebra ... and many newly built facilities on a 4.5 acres near the surface. It is a place to enjoy unforgettable days in family groups and educational groups. An educational program with different activities for schools, organized groups, families and the general public is provided in Cordoba Zoo. The following educational activities are conducted by reservation: -Workshops For educational schools (Tuesday to Friday during the school year from 10:00 to 14:00) -Workshops Education for the general public (Saturdays from 10:00 to 14:00) One night in the Zoo (Friday evening in June, July and first half of September) -Campamentos Holiday at the Zoo (Easter, Summer and Christmas) -Club Friends Zoo (One Saturday a month for club members)
